Canon Announces PowerShot SX230 and SX220 HS Digital Camera

Canon recently announced two new Digital camera, the PowerShot SX230 HS and SX220 H. Canon’s new digital cameras combine high-zoom performance, wide-angle flexibility and Full Manual control in two slim, sleek, pocket-friendly designs. Both offer a 3.0 inch LCD screen, 12.1 megapixel back-illuminated CMOS sensor, wide-angle 14x optical zoom lens, full HD (1080p) movie recording with stereo sound, SD / SDHC / SDXC / MMC memory card, and HDMI. The only difference between the pair is the SX230 HS’s built-in GPS.

The PowerShot SX230 HS and PowerShot SX220 HS will be available from mid-March 2011 with  a retail price of $349.99 in the US market and €299 in the European market while The SX220 HS is priced at €269.
